98 Isuzu Rodeo conversion

OK i have a 4x2 and i want to convert it into a 4x4 now from what i can see on the body and the frame they look exactly the same unless some one knows other wise I want to know if anyone had A done this or B would know what i need to do to convert this Thanks in advance for your help

i had 99 that i looked into doing this and everything is bolt on the wiring harness should even be there. there is a junk yard in Sigurd that had everything to do it.

im trying to figure out what i even need as far as parts for mine to even convert it does anyone know what i need to buy and switch i have a friend of mine that knows what hes doing said he would help but didn't know where to start just knows how to install it all please help i want to get started on this project on Monday thanks

This is my main Question and can some one be more specific about what exactly i need with this question and if im missing anything. hers the ?
Is it just a matter of bolting in the diff, tranny, t-case, CV's and spindles? what spindles do i need and what CV's do i need and if theirs anything after that i might need thanks again in advance

I've seen 3 SAS Rodeos for sale in the last month. You may consider buying one of those, or least go look at them for ideas. There is an Isuzu forum in Utah; don't know the addy but google for them as they can help you out for more specifics i'm sure.

Ask about the isuzu tcase doubler; few people know about it and it won't be mentioned in any 4x4 rags.

ok thanks ive got a person going to sell me a salvaged one just trying to get what i need off of it i have to drive to get it and want to make sure the parts are good so he told me to list off what i needed

im not really looking for a Solid Axle Swap with this one its more for the snow in the winter and some off road i know this is an extreme one but i figured you guys would know best thanks

I would pick up all the parts from a matching year, trans, t-case, drivelines, cv's, hub parts. Make sure the brakes are the same, along with matching front and rear gears. Dont forget the shifters, console, boots, etc, from the interior.

It would be worth having a complete donor right there so you can pick up the small parts you may have overlooked.

ya i planed on buying the whole car but wanted to ask the guy to make sure all the parts were in decent shape and not broken after the wreak what you just told me helps out a lot any chance of you being more specific as to exact names on the parts so i can tell him thank you very much
