I have out grown my ext cab and just bought a new double cab. I've loved this truck, I consistently get 18mph no matter what. When I had stock sized tires I would get 22mpg. This truck has been gone through top to bottom, There is also a 24in light bar behind the front bumper, the roof rack will come with the truck if desired, if not I will fill holes and make water proof again.
--206k I had the entire engine rebuilt by a Master Toyota Technician which is a good personal friend. When it was out, I replaced the clutch/pressure plate, fuel filter, and also sent the fuel injectors out to be balanced flow and cleaned (this is a HUGE reason why I consistently get great MPG and why this thing runs like new)
--At 215k the truck got all new suspension. lower control arm bushings and hardware was replaced
- New Bilstien 5100 shocks front and rear lifted 2.5inches and it sits level front to back.
-Add a leaf was added to rear springs-33 x 10.5 r 15 BFG KO2 tires installed-@ 220k all differentials including manual transmission gear oil changed.
----this truck does not need a thing, I planned on re gearing so I purchased a completed front and rear rebuild kit with solid spacers instead of crush sleeves to do it right from Kurt @ Cruiser Outfitters. I also have a Lockright locker for the rear when I was going to regear to 5.29 . If interested will sell for a good deal for the new owner.
