I'm getting ready to buy a adapter 4 a 700r4 to a d-300, my question is there a difference between the 2 mfg's, there both about the same price the AA being about 20$ cheaper than the novak, is there any advantage to one or another?

Both are good quality, the advantages to Novak are:

1) They're local. (relatively)
2) They helped out with the U4WDA raffle Jeep.
3) VERY helpful on the phone if you have issues.

And Novak will give a discount to U4WDA members. So join U4WDA, and then order from them.

Novaks service is awesome, I ordered one of the very first d300 32 spline from them, I think mine was the 2nd one sold to the public. The tolerances were off and it would bind the shaft...long story short I called them told them that I had a trip and needed it fixed fast.

We couldn't get it to work so they ordered one from another vendor, and spent all day on a saturday in their shop doing the needed machine work to another vendors part to get me running.

service goes a long way

I have both and feel they are both very good adapters. Yep, Novak does have good customer service. Also, check with Kurt with Cruiser Outfiters, he does some very good prices on AA.
