Also, you'll need a hi lift. I'm not sure if the low lifes were trying to roll it over the cliff edge, or just get it onto it's side to snatch the rest of the drivetrain. My guess would be, they're planning to come back and finish the job.

I don't know if you were planning on trying to get it running, and driving it out, but that ain't gonna happen. The top half of the engine has been robbed. There's an aluminum intake manifold laying under the rig, everything else was gone. You can probably drag it out on some roller tires. I saw the one missing brake drum in the back of it. No lug nuts to be seen, so you'll need those as well. With any luck, I think you could get it towable with it's own brakes in an hour or so.

Good luck guys, wish I could stick around here and lend you a hand. And thanks for getting that eyesore out of there.

Yeah, we went up there to check it out last weekend, and that is how it was sitting then. I'm just glad somebody didn't roll it all the way off the cliff. It's not gonna be easy...

Good luck guys. Looks like it is leaking too. Idiots:mad2:

Thanks Jeff and MFFW.
Great job.
I would also prefer that any money made off this go back to MFFW.
These guys set an example for all of us.

Great job! I hope it wasn't too much of a pain. We will find out with the trip report I am sure.

Okay, so now I've got a POS Blazer sitting in my yard. I'm going to pull the axles off it in the next week or two, but the rest is up for grabs.

I'm not really sure what is salvageable off it. The doors are rusted out at the bottom, and the hood is in pretty bad shape. The t-case and tranny might be okay, but we couldn't get the case out of 4wd when we retrieved it, so who knows. The carb and intake are missing. Leaf springs and drive shafts seem okay.

So, if anyone wants anything off it, let me know. We'll make you a great deal, but you will have to come to Moab and pull it yourself. I'll keep it here for maybe 4-6 weeks, then its going away (my wife wants it gone now!).

I'll post this in the classified section also.

Thanks - Jeff
