Front is done minus the steering box. We're waiting on a flat pitman arm prior to messing with it.

Rear frenched hangers are being installed today as well.

What is the benefit to frenching the rear springs? Wouldn't you have to run bigger lift rear springs to level it with the front?

2 benefits:

1) When sliding the frame on rock, it won't get hung up on the hanger. It'll slide straight to the leaf.

2) The front is frenched as well (although not as much) so I'm guessing it won't need much more lift. Maybe a 4" spring in the back to match a 3" spring up front? It's easier lift a truck than it is to lower it, so I think it's best to start as low as possible then go up from there if necessary. Also, you can get more uptravel with a spring with a bit more arch, so a bigger spring may not be bad.

Front and rear hangers are frenched 3-1/4" up into the frame. So, the lift height will match F&R. I basically was able to lower the over lift height about 2" overall by doing this. So, its takes what would have been a 7" lift and turned it into a 5" llift. Perfect for running it low with 35s or 37s.
