Adjustable Track Bar Installation

I need to install a front and rear adjustable track bar on a TJ. I have some lift so the axles are sticking out to either side a little. When I take off the stock bars, will the Jeep reposition itself over the axles, where it needs to go? Then just adjust the length of the track bars to fit? Or is there more to it than that? Is it better to leave one on while I do the other or take both stock ones off first?

Thanks for any suggentions.

I would do one end at a time, have a buddy there for a helping hand. (the helping hand can turn to wheel to help push the jeep left or right to relieve pressure)
The jeep may move to one side or the other when the stock bar is removed. The new bar will need some adjustment to get the axle centered. Once installed, measure each side, then adjust, then drive, then measure, then adjust, etc etc...

You dont NEED to measure, usually if you just eyeball it you can get it really close. When i did mine i didnt have anyone to help me so i just use a come-along winchstrap thing to pull my jeep the way i needed it.

I did mine with a rachet strap under the rig. I measured to a point on each side that I knew was simmetrical (not the edge of the wheel opening, cause I've bent those a little...)
I'd prefer to measure it and get it a little closer, but if you are using new springs, you will settle and need adjustment later on.
