My co-worker who didn't make it to my Mineral Basin run the other day is pestering me to set up another canyon run in order for him to go... and he even proposed a date: Thursday, June 13th. We need to get an early start so that he can be to work that afternoon, so his suggestion is to meet at (and depart from) the infamous Chevron at 8:30am sharp. He even already found a third vehicle to tag along with us, so I guess it's official. Due to time constraints, we've decided to go to Forest Lake rather than all the way to Mineral Basin.

I thought I'd mention it here in case anyone else wants to join in the fun. As always, all are welcome.

what time are you guys planing on being done at?

My co-worker needs to be at work in AF by 2:00 at the very latest, and he'll want some time to clean up and change clothes. Therefore I plan for us to be out of the canyon and back in town around 12:30... or 1:00, tops. This should be easily doable based on my MB run a few days ago; for that trip we left the Chevron at 1:50pm and were out of the canyon and back at Chevron by 6:00 (even after airing back up and all that jazz). A Forest Lake run typically takes less time than MB, so I think we'll be golden.

Does that work for your schedule?

I am very flexible with my schedule, mainly wanted to know so that I could tell my wife. I am already busy on a couple weekends an then going camping with the church youth for half a week so she isn't too keen on me doing more, but this works good for me as long as you don't mind waiting for mw to unload the blazer off the trailer real fast an don't mind a newbie tagging along.

The rest of us will need to stop at Tibble Fork reservoir so that we can air down; that will be the perfect time and place for you to unload your trailer. I'd say it'll be perfect.
