As you may be aware of, Utah 4x4 Club has adopted the Forest Lake trail in AF Canyon through the Forest Service as our club trail adoption this year. One of the main things we are working on is to provide and install (2) information kiosks to be placed at the beginning of the trail, and the other up at the lake.

We're working on the actual posters now for these kiosks and need some assistance. We're looking for a few hi-res digital pictures to use on some of the signs. Below is a list of shots we're looking for. If you have any pictures you could send over, we'd sure appreciate it. Keep in mind we need to make certain all the pictures we show do not include any illegal activity. Also, any pictures which may be taken in more notorious or easily identifiable areas would be a plus.

- need a pic of any rig or a few rigs traveling along a designated route.
- need a pic of some sort of wildlife in the canyon (deer, elk, bear, etc.)
- need a pic of any ATV or a few ATV's traveling along a designated route.

the pictures can be either posted in this thread, PM'ed to me on Utah4x4Club.com website (CJJ 98XJ), e-mailed to chadjjohn@hotmail.com, or e-mailed to me at chad.johnson@rmf-slc.com.

Thanks for all your help.

Yeah, I've looked, but that area gets an awful lot of pruning by the mods. Nothing in there at the moment for AF Canyon. Plus I need them hi-res for printing needs and most people cut them down for posting. Plus I don't really want to be using pics without people's permission.

We don't prune anything in the trip report section. Check the drop down boxes at the bottom to view posts older than the thread cut-off date.

And yes, if you do find photo ask permission of the original poster to use them.

Thanks, I must not have been paying enough attention. Looks like I've got some searching to do.

Or at least the upper few. If you are so incharge why don't you take your own pics?????? Or USEYOUR OWN SITE TO FIND PICs !!!! That is all.:eek::eek:

I hope it wasn't me that offended you, as I don't recall having ever met. Sounds like you may have some personal issues with certain members. I believe that should be left to PM's, not this thread.:ugh: I do apologize if I've overstepped my boundaries by allowing the RME crowd to get involved a bit in this project as well. After all, we're all a part of the bigger OHV crowd who is so often targeted.

I have posted on our site to gain pics as well, and I have a few from there. I have a few of my own too. I'm thinking a bigger pool to choose from would be beneficial in this case.

We're not trying to be high and almighty. We're just taking the steps to be a bit more proactive and help out the general communities, be it wheeling, ATVing, etc. We all access these areas and we thought it would be beneficial to help educate those who may need it. It shows a great deal to the Forest Service that we are committed and are willing to help them help ourselves.

Surpised Scoutabout hasn't sent some (or perhaps he has). I know he loves that area. Some of the UOOC folks head that way alot as well.

I was going to take some ATV pics for you today, but we ended up going somewhere else.

That'd be awesome if you happen to get a few. As much as I'd love to cover the entire thing with 4-wheel drive vehicles, I think it would come across better if it looked as if we were trying to cover all sorts of motorized recreation.

I'll dig through what I have tonight and find you something.

Sorry I took so long, but I had a LOT of pictures to wade through.... I found a few that fit what you are looking for, I just emailed them to you, hope they can do you some good.
