I'm not sure which is worse: going TO work at 4am, or getting out of work at 4am.

Hey I was up at 4am this morning because my wife's snoring wok.... Um I was thirsty--ya I was thirsty and needed some water
For me going in at 2pm is pretty nice sometimes. No alarm clock for me I just wish someone else I knew worked these hours as well. It gets boring when everyone you know is at work when your not :-\

Getting up at 4 am?
I wish I could sleep in until 4 am!!! (that's why I only go to work 2 times a week)

I was up at 4:00am taking care of a problem at work. I'm going to be switching my shift to work from 2am to 8-9am. I'm quite excited about it, I did it last year this time and I loved it. The only thing that sucks is you have to go to bed early...but having the whole day off is sure nice. Being able to go get my Christmas shopping done when everyone else is at work is nice as well.

Well I found out today that 60-70 hour weeks are not unusual
But the time and a half will sure add up.

I worked 28 hrs overtime this last weekend... :-\ About a month ago I put in 3, 14 hr days over my weekend. That was a rough 2 weeks of straight working.
I'm fortunate enough to work 4, 10's and usually have 3 day weekends. This upcoming weekend I scheduled a vacation day for Monday, so I'll have 4 days off... time for a little trip!!

Everybody where I work has 4 tens or 3 twelves for shifts except maintenance that has 5 eights and overtime until its fixed.
In our contract it say's if overtime goes over twelve hours we get a tv dinner.
After 18 hours we get a tv dinner every 4 hours more
If overtime continues into the next day the time is overtime until we go home.

Worked my first overtime today.
They don't give out TV dinners anymore, they just add $10 onto the pay.
I was really looking forward to eating my tv dinner on the drive home
Got 2 hours of time and a half to change 3 v-belts and walk 4 miles
The bad ones will be what they call EPA critical. If it will put us out of EPA limits it has to be fixed before we leave
