Air compressors??

I already know the answer to this question, but....

Is a oiled compressor really worth an extra $100? You know, seperate drive motor and big cast compressor unit.

Over the integrated oil-less motor/compressor unit.

I am looking at the Husky ones $240 vs $360. Should I just bite the bullet?

Bite the bullet. My neighbor has a few reconditioned compressors he would be willing to sell. Very nice units, but they might be a little big for your needs.

go with the biggest you can get and make sure its a oiled one.

Well, my old one seems to be working fine....lubed up the bearings and what not. So I guess I'll be ok for a while....

I have a Sears 30 gal. oil less and i cant stand how annoying it is. I bought my dad one of those Husky 2 Stage compressors for christmas and you dont even know its running from 30 ft away. Its so quiet. I should of gave him mine and used that one.

220 big. I think he has a 60 and a 80 gallon one.
