I'm glad you like it. It sounds like you got the card from an indirect store (a store not owned by Verizon, but who sells Verizon service). Be really careful. They may give you 20 days to try the equipment, but Verizon is only going to give you 15 days to try the service before you are locked in to your contract. The indirect stores are notorious for telling you whatever it takes to get you signed up and stay signed up, You are not their customer, Verizon is. They lose money selling you equipment, but Verizon pays them a commission to sign you up (as long as you stay signed up for at least one year). If they tell you 20 days and you try to return the card on the 20th day Verizon is going to charge you a $175 early termination fee. Also, the indirect store you got the card from will probably charge you their own early termination fee, which is usually substantially higher. Just be careful, if you plan on cancelling before the end of the trial period do it by the 15th day. ;)

Cool, I will have to try mine tonight and post up results. I know that in Chicago and Vegas it was much faster than I ever got here, maybe that has changed now.

Download speeds got a little bit faster, but upload speeds are where Rev A really shines. Upload speeds went from 60 to 80 kbps with Rev 0 to 400 to 800 kbps with Rev A. Sadly, you'll need new equipment to take advantage of the new system. Your existing wireless card will only work with Rev 0. There is a new card coming out this month that plugs into a USB port instead of a PCMCIA or Express card slot. You will be able to use it on your desktop now too! I would wait for the USB card if I were going to buy a wireless card soon. Should be available in retail stores around the 22nd of February. Rev A is the same monthly cost as Rev 0. It's really cool that Salt Lake was among the first markets to get the new revision.

We just got EVDO in Spokane. However, I don't notice a speed increase over the 1x they had previous.... Which is too bad, because all I can get is Comcast or T1. If my aircard had faster uploads, I would use it as my primary.
