It looks like the fires picking up again I can see big orange flames from my house

I would imagine that you are pretty safe, but should you need it, I have several spare beds....

It's moved way south, almost to SR-92. I wonder how far east it has burned. over the ridge?
First photo is taken about 1/2 mile from the mouth of the canyon on SR-92. Second is from my back yard, yikes!

They let my folks back into their house. It's still moving north south and east.

It's raining here. A nice gentle drizzle with no wind, exactly what fires hate.

I'm glad the lightning isn't making a show or things could get a lot worse around the state.

It's stopped raining here. I wonder how much the rain impacted the fire.

I'm no expert but things are looking pretty good right now. Aside from the peak, which is covered by clouds, there is zero smoke.

I take it back, I can see a few little whisps on the south east side.
