aluminum d 44 questions.....

I have a 96 grand Cherokee with the aluminum Dana 44 im getting a terrible vibration from it at freeway speeds the few questions I have are .......
is the rebuild kit the same for my d44 as the iron one ?
could it be rebuilt with good results ?

I think there is actually a recall on those. i know there has been a lot of problems with the Aluminum 44's in ZJ's. I believe the bearings are the same, not sure. Carrier is different.
Check with the dealer and maybe search the ZJ forum on Jeeps Unlimited.
