Amana clothes washer

It's model # ALW480DAW, is about 10 years old, and recently started leaking a bit while agitating or spinning. (does not leak when filling or soaking) I narrowed down the easy repair stuff to the point where I'm fairly sure it's the outer tub, or the main seal at the bottom of the tub.

It still works as long as you have a towel on the floor to soak up the drips. :greg: I have a new washer on the way, and this one could be good for someone cooler than me. Only catch is, it will need to be picked up today or early tomorrow, before I let the delivery guys haul away this one.

Can I have the inside barrel with the holes in it? I forgot what it's called. How tough would it be to remove it?

Sure, it's all yours--just come get the whole washer, then you can take your time taking it apart.
