I went to Little Moab about a month ago. Kinda lame! Is 5 mile any better? I will be towing the heap all the way from Tremonton so its got to be worth the 4hr round trip.

Lame? Depends on your vehicle capacity I guess.

Awesome if you live 30min away.

5 mile will be more of a trail system than Little Moab.

Is there not anything out your way? I love AF but if I were driving that distance I'd go to Moab. AF should let you down if you weren't satisfied with Little Moab. No real obstacles in AF.

Has this guy even been to AF Canyon before? I did every trail and obstacle up there on 31's for crying out loud. But go ahead and waste your fuel driving down, it may be the middle of July before they open up.

Uh, maybe he hasn't been down there before and that's why he'd like to try it? It doesn't sound like he has to me.

Why be a douche to the guy? Join date of May 2011.

What are you looking for in a trail? What was lame about 5 mile? Af canyon is beautiful, and it's fun to camp, but the trails aren't even a little bit challenging. I'm bored with any rig with tires bigger than 35's up AF canyon.

You might enjoy exploring the area and running the few named trails. Search this site for rattlesnake, constrictor and waynes world. All are trails (waynes world is a stand-alone obstacle located between the trails) in the 5MP area. Check out the photos and videos to see if you'd be interested. Probably so, it's a fun area and there are some technical challenges. When AF is open, check it out too! It's a beautiful area to explore and great for a weekend of camping. As mentioned, not too technical, but still lots of fun. When it's not packed in with snow of course. :)

Well I just moved back to Utah, Ive been gone for 10 years. I have a 92 Wrangler on D-60/14 bolt 38.5 sx's so it is capable of most everything around here. I was wanting to take the GF and her daugheter on a nice easy trail for their first run. So if someone wants to take us to 5 mile i would appreciate it. Little Moab was to small. There were some obsticals that werer fun though. I prefer the longer trails where we could look at the scenery.

If you like sagebrush for scenery then 5mp is the place to go. Rattlesnake is actually pretty fun and not too hard and if you like old mining stuff you would find it interesting.
