With as much rain as we have got the last week it is going to be very sloppy for sure.

I was up to Silver Lake today and it was pristine conditions.

Please practice leave no trace and tread lightly principles if you see higher elevation with snow or wet conditions. With the recent attack from snowbird, it would be well for our cause to remind snowbird we respect and care about our recreation land use.

This the road still blocked on the midway side? Anyone know?

Are you talking about 85? If so I thought I read it was open.

If you are talking about Poleline Pass it is most likely still blocked by a snow bank or two. I was up there last weekend from the Midway side and there was still a few banks in the shadows. Two weeks ago I tried from the AF side and was stopped short of the top as well. Never hurts to look but I would think another week or two as long as temperatures stay up.

Note sure of the road name but the main road that you drive from midway to AF. I like the camps spots closer to the midway side and was hoping to camp this coming weekend.

It was snowed in as of last weekend - couldn't make it to the top of the pass from the AF side. There was enough snow that I'd be very surprised if it was open now...
