I think he is racing this race to try and get in the hammers then tearing it down and giving it to the new owner. His new chassis is in the works.

Ill be racing it to try and get a spot in the hammers. The new car is in progress but dont have a for sure time on completion. If it all goes as planned Im hoping for KOH '13

I really wanted to spectate, but this week is going to suck at work... and I'll be up for NPLD next weekend, that's a lot of driving. So I want to go, but I probably wont.

Pretty sure Campbell doesn't have to prove anything to anyone and let's not forget that this the first race with the new car so you can't expect it not to have a single issue. It takes time. And as for bill Baird, $100,000 is cheaper than he could have paid them to build it
