Amigos do Wheel

I wheeled with one guy twice. He was pretty cool, think his name was Mike. I don't remember making fun of him any more then anybody else, but you could hardly tell it was an amigo:D
Probably the best part;)

i thought it was a Rodeo

When someone tells you they wheel an amigo it really sticks with you:rofl: Really I was like wtf is that, he just laughed, If I remeber right it had all stock drivetrain except 60's front and rear, and those were 37 red krawlers:greg:

Isuzu's have a lot to offer, including a powerfull V6 and a rear D44 so why we don't see a lot more on the trail is a mystery to me

The Isuzu V6 will bolt right up to the R151F Toyota trans so... Picture this an Amigo/Rodeo with the following: Stock (powerfull) V6, Toyota pickup R151F trans, Dual Toyota T-cases, Front solid axle swapped D44, and stock D44. Sounds cool to me... Or am I just thinking out loud???

I always liked Amigos, especially the later model ones. I thought they were pretty slick looking.

Love em, if I could find one I would probably buy one. When I worked at Rocky Road I would talk with Von and Glenn about building one up. Then I had to quit, and you know what happened? Glenn built one.:rolleyes:

Oh whatever! You drive Samurai for christs sake! You're never going to be considered 'macho' on the trail. They are different, and if you build them right they are capable rigs.

You have to be a real man to drive a samurai on the trail, you will never know becuase all you do is web wheel:p Besides your samurai is your daily driver:eek:

Some things just shouldn't be built, I believe the x90 is one of those things:rofl: And saying that you can build it to be capable is like saying I can build a reclining chair to be capable.

I'm not gonna lie--I like that X90! Can't tell too terribly much from the pics, but I see linked suspension and Toyota axles.

That looks like it's a leftover from an old jackie chan movie or perhaps back to the future. Now was it parts I, II or III.......
