Another Local U-Tuber in the water?

I'm pretty new around here but I know people get pretty upset about you getting in the water (Stream/River/Lake) in the St. Louis area. Found this Jeep making its way up a stream in the Ward Canyon Area on YouTube and considering He has to run down some vegetation to do it; I assume this is not a designated trail.

Not to detract from the e-flogging, but I really don't get the music that you youngfolk listen too with a guy SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF HIS LUNGS in it.

I think Houndoc is referring to the recent attack on the FJ Cruiser guy who was bogging through Forest Lake.

We shouldn't be posting stuff like this at all. In recent weeks, some photos of off-trail activity were posted at a local board. Within days, everyone in the Forest unit where the off-trail activity happened had been sent a link to the photos. It makes the 4x4 community look bad. I would propose that we start a new procedure. When some finds something like this, email it to busted at u4wda.org, and we'll forward it from there. If you took the pictures/video of the offender please include information about what they were doing, where etc.

Don't assume too much. I know of one FS officer who has seen the photos. I would be surprised if they did not contact the vehicle owners.

I think that educating and informing others before the damage is done is the big priority. If a call from an officer, and a small fee to pay to let them know they are serious helps get that information across i am ok with that. Maybe they will tell all of their friends too. That is the government’s way of educating the public.

But I agree, a more professional approach, and a common approach I think may be just as effective and protective to the land if a land group could head that up.

I hate to get anyone in serious trouble... I have to admit I was mostly annoyed by how lame it was. Considering how much trouble it can make for the community it was hardly worth watching. Technically I suppose one truck probably didn't hurt that stream too bad; I really don't belive in making examples of people. I would like to see more signs in some of these areas... Some kind of indication what's fair game. Don't get me wrong, I suspect even these guys knew they weren't supposed to be in the creek, But i doubt they were aware how big a deal it is. Some more logs to mark illegal trails or something would be ideal.

To be honest those wheels should be a ticket-able offense.

IF people would actually stay on the trail (not avoiding obstacles by driving around them) we'd not have a big problem at all.
