There's a grip of sweet old trucks and farm machinery out at the ranch on the island, and a bunch of sweet old men and ladies that'll talk your ear off about the history of the place. If you haven't been out there, you should check it out.

so..there are coyotes out on the island? are they protected and live there year round?

I went Sunday with my family and found a few coyotes with no effort. A lot of wildlife for such a small area.

No but the funny thing about that is I took a friend Coyote hunting once and we saw 4 bald eagles and no coyotes. He wanted to know how in the hell we could see four of an endangered species and not see any coyotes.

I've never really seen a coyote. I think I may have, but it was like 500 yards away and running the wrong way. My buddy I was with told me it was a coyote but I can't be sure.
