Any bmx racers on here?

I went down and watch the races last night at the legacy center and it has peaked my interest I use to do a lot of dirt jumping as a kid I'm thinking about racing now. It seemed like a really welcoming group of people. Does anyone do this?

ive thought about getting into it as well. i used to downhill and ride dirt jumps as well, but after a few bad wrecks and too many nights in hospital beds, i decided to sell off the two-wheeled fleet. but, im gettin the itch to get back on the bike.

I might race again in the winter. Great group of people, they're very friendly to newcomers. Make sure to check out the clinics, they help a lot.

So I went and bought a bike last week and went to the pratice in farmington. I realized I'm way more out if shape than I thought. I'm going to try and ride 3-4 nights a week to get in shape.

yes it's at the legacy center they practice on Wednesday and race on Saturday. It's 3 dollars to practice and I think 12 to race.
