I have a fun little Bulgarian project and long story short I have about 6" of 5.45 caliber barrel. I'm thinking of either making a simple single shot pistol or a pistol that uses a magazine. Whatever I make would most likely be .22lr because the bore is close enough and it would require less fuss with the rimfire cartridge profile. I figure that the burn table has to be handy for this project so I might want to get creative.
