Any Local Custom Dyno Tuning Shops?

I have a 94 Chevy 3500 Crew cab dually. It originally had the 6.5L diesel. I bought it with a bad engine.

I had a 350 Vortec laying around. So I tore it down, bored and stroked it to 383, installed GMPP's 383 truck cam, roller rockers and flat top pistons to increase the compression to 10.5:1 and added some tri-y headers and open exhaust. It has stock 96-99 Vortec fuel injection and PCM programming.

I haven't had it dyno tested yet but my dyno software estimates 332 hp at 4000 rpm and 544 lb ft torque at 2000 rpm.

My goal here was to try and build it as small, light weight, fuel efficient and powerful as possible.

I've been driving this thing daily for a year now. And have since made one trip to Moab pulling my Blazer on a trailer. I didn't win any races to the top of the hill, but considering the weight and rather small engine it did very well.

I am fairly happy with it's performance but I know it can do better if I had the PCM tuned to match my engine.

I have looked on the net and found http://www.nelsonperformance.com/index.html. Has anyone had any experience with them? Or does anyone know where I can get the PCM custom tuned on a dyno locally?

Talk to Mike over at Summit. He has a friend that has a dyno, but I think they do mostly Mustangs? I don't remember exactly. It's where we went to dyno my Rubicon with the various bored/unbored throttle bodies about a year ago (there is a write up on here if you search for it).

There are only a handful of dynos in Utah, or less. Two of which are owned by Cobb Tuning. Others in Utah have changed hands, one used to be owned by Phantom Motorsports, but he sold it to someone else, and I can't think of who at the moment...

Give my buddy Heath, a call. He owns Modular Madness West. He mostly does tuning on mustangs, but I'm sure he will be more than happy to run your vehicle on his dyno. His phone number is 801-561-0963 or 801-450-3524.

Thanks for the info but I've already ordered a PCM from Nelson performance last week. I haven't got it yet. But I would like to do a before and after dyno run to see the improvement. Do you know if his dyno is big enough to fit a dually? Or would I have to remove 2 of the rear wheels?

I think this the place I was talking about... about 90th and state, IIRC?
