Any one heard of Vortex Winches?

Great, more crap from China. It should rust over real nice. I looked around for good solid reviews and it looks like a great disposable winch. Looks just like a Gorilla winch.

No,but played bass in a band named Vortex,yeas ago.Get a name brand.I have had warn and ramsey both with no problems.

My guess would be buy a Warn after you bought a Vortex and it blew up the first time you used it.

That is a great quote, I'm not going to buy one, was just wondering. I wish I could afford a Warn, one day. Thinking I might pick up a SmittyBilt in the mean time, they are a good "emergency" winch.

My 125.00 used harbor freight 9k winch I had on my trailer was amazing. Chestonscout was telling me a story about ttc he attended where they had a competition for all the name brand winches and harbor freight was the only one still working in the end. I hope I am as happy with my 10k & 12k warns that I have now as I was with that hf winch.

My 9k HF winch has worked awesome for the 3 or 4 years I've owned it, and I use it alot too.
