My brother bought a 2 inch body lift for his tacoma. Anything we should know about or look out for while installing it?

Ya first thing to do is get some PB Blaster from the auto store and spray all the body mount bolts and brakets that are going to be removed.... Then do it again tomorrow...... then wait a couple of days and do it again..... then make sure you spray again the day before you do the lift.....
Trying to get out broken bolts in the body is a major pain in the butt......

my best suggestion is to take it back and save up for the suspension lift. SERIOUSLY!!!

other than that....follow the instructions....that is what they are for.

If it's made specifically for you vehicle, fits your year and all, you should have nothing to worry about. Just follow the instructions that comes with it. I've never dealt with tacos, but with my Tracker I ran into the problem of the steering column not being long enough because the lift wasn't designed for that year. If you're doing the suspension at the same time, you might need longer brake lines, depending on how much lift you're giving it.

When me and my friend put the body lift on his EB, we started it and the fan ate the fan shroud. So make sure you dont have that problem :D

I sas'd my rodeo, but my brother's wife doesn't want him to do anything to the taco that isn't a bolt on kinda lift.

I am all over taking it the way of sas though.
