Anyone have a Corbeau XP?

The time has come to replace the junkyard Neon seats in the Scout. They have been in there for many years and I cant complain. But after all the bouncin around at KOH my drivers seat collapsed. Makes the back pretty sore to.



I know there are a million choices in suspension seats but I have kind of narrowed my search down to either the Corbeau baja ultra in the wide, or the Corbeau baja XP.


Im not a small guy by any means. I have sat in the wide Ultra and I like it. I just wish the back was a little taller. The measurement of the XP show the back is 1.5" taller and that would be perfect for me.

I am having a hard time spending so much money on a seat thats just gonna get ruined. Thats why I went with junkyard seats in the first place.

So my question is does anyone have a Baja XP they would be willing to let me sit in?



I looked at the EMPI racetrim seats at Midnight 4x4. I had almost ordered a set. I like the seat but they are WAY low. the back hits me under my skull and I didnt like that idea. But the price is very very reasonable.

What about building a headrest on your cage like Jesse Haines Willys buggy?

He had low backs in the last one.

Teraflex has corbeaus in the show room you can sit in, I didnt like the XPS at all the shoulder bolsters made it hard to lean out of the rig ans they sat up to straight for me I went with the baja ultras

I asked if they had the XP in the showroom. Guy says I dont know, we dont sell anything that isnt Teraflex anymore
