Anyone heard of Town and Country Foods?

Got stopped at the home show by a cute girl giving away free meet. So against my better judgment I have a appointment tonight with a rep from Town and Country Foods. They are coming over to talk about their menu and in return I get a big box of steaks/chicken/chops/etc.

Has anyone heard or use them? I'm assuming its a Winder Dairy like operation.

Sounds like some pretty dumb people got screwed then complained about it. Not right, but you can see it coming just like any door to door sales scheme. Don't do it.

Holy crap batman!!! I had no idea it was that involved and they make you buy a freezer!! I have a feeling this will be a high pressure sales to boot. Better dress appropriately i.e. dirty drawers, wife beater, and a bathrobe that has a nasty habit of opening.

Well the guy came and I whipped it out...... not my meat but my misconception of their offer. I apologized he made the trip in the snow and to drive safe. Here and gone in less than 3 minutes.

Just that I did a little research (XT Utah's links) and was mistaken about their services. I thought it was more of a Winder Dairy/Schwans deal. Then I asked how long it would take. He said 1 hour. I asked if he could do it in 20 min (nope).

Asked him about it really being in bulk (yes), about if you had to buy a freezer (yes if you don't have one).

Told him I was not interested and did not want to waste his time. He looked a bit sad and shocked. I did not ask for the box of meat.

I got some free steaks from a window salesman one time. They were great! he was pissed that I couldn't afford his uber expensive windows though!
