Anyone here ever seen a concert at The Depot?

There's a concert coming up later this year that interests me, at The Depot. I've never been there. From what info I can see online, the place is... small. It looks too small for the show in question, which is odd to me.

Anybody ever seen a major act there? If so, what did you think?

Saw the Young Dubliners there a couple years ago. It's not huge, but I don't remember it feeling especially small?

I have been in there, roughly 10 years ago. Concert was awesome with only general admission tickets and standing room only. It is a very small venue and being within 50 feet from the stage when your on the back wall was rad!

Many, great venue, gets packed so get there early.

I’ve seen Angels and Airwaves there a few times and it’s a cool venue. I always get there early and get standing room on the side balcony. It’s a nice view

The State Room is also a great venue, and yeah, The Depot is huge by comparison. If you grew up going to Kilby or The Junction (in its many forms), seeing someone at The Depot is basically an arena show!

Like many others I’ve been to several. If it sells out it’s packed. I loved a packed venue for a concert personally especially if it’s a band I love. But if you are the type that likes your space at a concert probably not the venue for you at a sold out show.

We used to go see Royal Bliss for their Pre-Thanksgiving bash every year. And been to a number of other shows. I think its a good venue, but to echo others it can get crowded quickly.

I should have mentioned that I saw Faster Pussycat at the Metro Music Hall. How does The Depot compare, size-wise?

Depot is much bigger than the Metro Music Hall.

I've seen the Aquabats there a few times.
We crowd surfed kids on giant blowup pool float toys during the song "Pool Party." Once Tony Hawk fought the powdered milk man.
Cool venue.

I saw Wheeler Walker Jr there last year. Go early, gets packed. But plenty big

Been to lots of shows there. I like it. VIP table is the way to go though.
