Anyone noticing KSL deleting parts ads in Rockcrawlers?

My last ad (that is still in the rock crawler section for now) I put a nice note on the bottom of the ad telling KSL to leave it the hell alone

That's fine if you're searching for something specific. Most of my purchases of KSL (upwards of 90% including my last dirt bike) are wandering in a section until I find something cool.

It's in mans nature to categorize and organize and this is just backwards.

I'll bet the moderator is some guy on a power trip.

KSL is just shooting themself in the foot.

First no firearms then some individual who doesn't know what a rock crawler is. They are doing the same with the race car section too.

I guess they don't know that most of these cars are just a conglomeration of parts.

I am sorry but craigslist is a waste of time to me. I dont know if it is just me or not, but it seems very poorly set up, and makes it hard to find certain things.

Exactly, not trying to be harsh... but just learn to post the key word crawler (or any common offroad term) in your ads.
Its not that hard to explain.... KSL ain't gonna pull up a smokin deal on a part in CO,NV,AZ,CA ... Or any other part of the country. wonder why that is???? Lol
Aren't you on there in the first place to either get a deal or make money selling your stuff? Expand your horizons and you will realize that $15 shipping box can bring you spoils of goods beyond belief! Or shipping tires to NJ for $300 on a $1000 profit rocks (just remember money is always green, last I checked anyway)!!!

Good evening,

The rock crawling "community" understands the issues KSL is having with spammers, duplicate ads, and posting in the wrong sections. We realize some control must be exerted to keep the classifieds organized and following protocol.

However, since the "Rock Crawlers" section under Recreational Vehicles has been available, we have ALL listed our parts there. We all watch it, we know if we want a part for our Crawlers bought or sold, we put it there.

Recently, the ads are being deleted, and worse, our accounts banned. While this is extremely frustrating, we understand the reasoning, but the punishment for losing our accounts that are years old, seems a bit asinine.

So can we make a compromise? Add a "Rock Crawler Parts" section under the recreational section of the classifieds. You already have one for "ATV Parts." And I would wager, there are more of us, then them.

By doing this you give us a organized place to place our ads, you won't have to police the "Rock Crawlers" section, and you can stop banning us.

We would greatly appreciate this. My own account, had been valid for SEVEN YEARS, and poof, it has been banned. I do not feel I was adequately warned before it occurred.

With the kind of feelings being presented there, plus the recent closing of the firearms classifieds, you are losing customer base. I can assure you, that the majority of us check that classifieds section daily.

very nice reply... bet you will see a parts section very soon!

same with street motorcycle's, dirt bikes, UTV's and sleds... you've got an itemized parts section's there as well.
