ARB Question

I have never ran an ARB until now. I put 1 in the front end. I fire up the compressor until it stops and then I hit the locker. It locks in and then after about 10 seconds the compressor comes back on. 20 seconds later it comes back on and so and and so forth. But the entire time the locker is engaged.
Is this normal or is something wrong or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks for the advice.

Sounds like you have a leak somewhere. Although not how it is supposed to work, yes this is perfectly normal for ARBs. :D

Who installed it?

A company out here in Ogden (All Pro Auto) I think the leak may be coming from where the line ties into housing. I attached that part and may have F-d it up, it was being a little pain in the can.

That's part of what i hate about my ARB, buying dang parts for it. Solenoid, then an air line, then repair kit, then this then that.

A common leak on mine was at the pumpkin where it goes in. That part needs to be just right.

oh and everyone else pls spare me how their ARBs are perfect and it's the install problem, blah blah blah. My ARBs were perfect too for the first 3 years or so then it was headache after headache for the next 6.

and then when i upgraded to 60s i actually bought them AGAIN...that's what kills me the most :p

Despite what some may say, I love ARBs. If installed correctly you can't get a better locker. I love Detroits also, but the selectable locker makes it so much more street and trail friendly.
