I read about them a year or so ago on POR. I think most people weren't into them because of the multiple u-joint design.

Pretty cool....you get all the weakness of a Portal without the clearance gains.

There's a couple of companies out there building axles of this design. I say building sarcastically because I have not seen a built example to date, just CAD mockups.

now these axles make sense, check out the comp buggies pumkins, right next to the wheels as close as possible
