Area BFE is going to be busy this year.
The ranch is going to be closed to the public on two separate days between the hours of 6 A.M. to 5 P.M.
These days are:
-Monday April 2nd
-Tuesday April 3rd
Camping will not be allowed on:
Sunday April 1st
Monday April 2nd
Only Race teams are allowed to set up camp on Friday April 6th
(Be prepared to show proof of XRRA entry)
All camping must be done in lower parking lots. (The large ones after you travel under the power lines.) No remote camps please.
Beginning Saturday March 31st and extending through Thursday April 5th, from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m., we will have night wheeling under stadium lights. There will be a food court with music. We want people to enjoy themselves. However we will be quick to have security escort offensive behavior individuals off of the property. I am not sure, but I think in this state you can still shoot idiots on private property. LOL.
The authorities will be searching for underage drinking as well as checking for drunk drivers.
The Moab 4x4 Outpost along with CRAWL Magazine have organized a Geo Stash event during EJS.
Register for this at Moab 4x4 Outpost! These prizes are awesome! Big money prizes! The list of sponsors for this event is staggering! Too many to list here, so stop by M4O and check them out!
By day stashes are all over the area spanning between Green River and Monticello. Each night there will be hidden stashes at Area BFE. You must register prior to that evening to take advantage of the game! The evening hunts begin at 6.
Registration will not be available at Area BFE
There will be a nominal fee for entry into Area BFE all week long.
Please understand that money is going directly into the park.
Camping will also have a fee asigned this year. $10 per night per camp.
There will be someone onhand checking.
On big Saturday we will play host once again to the XRRA. This year will be incredible to watch. Be sure to show up early. Shows usually start by 10 in the morning. Parking areas have been expanded. Traffic last year made us adjust parking. There will not be parking on the road until after you pass the Area BFE ranch entrance. The competition area is completely fenced now. Do not expect entry into the area from any direction other than the main gate!
You are welcome to park on the shoulder of the county road beyond the ranch entrance. Please do not park on vegetation. (Plants!)
A shuttle may be provided, but at this time one has not been confirmed.
We are very excited about this year. Remember that Area BFE is here for all wheelers, all year. Please help us with keeping the park clean and safe.
It is easy to get carried away and let bad things happen to good people. Please help us keep the park safe by policing yourselves and the others in your group. One bad seed will kill a good thing!
Thank you all and please spread the word to everyone!
