has anyone used this locker? i am planning on locking up my dana 44 and want a selectable and this one is alot cheaper then the arb or eaton, just seeing if anyone has used it

My son in law has one in his xj dana 30 front axle and has had lots of problems getting it to reliably lock and unlock. He has even sent it back to the factory with no resolution.

That is my blog from U4x4C. I can tell you that under no circumstance EVER buy this product. Do yourself a favor wait a few extra weeks and drop the extra $200 on the real thing. I cannot warn your strongly enough. The product is not tried and tested, it is not a quality product and you stand a real chance of spending 2 ARBS in issues as a result

It is not really a locker like they advertise it either, just a limited slip. When you flip the switch it just packs the clutch packs tighter.

Oh on a side note... the 44 with an ected in it that I know of seems to have gone out last night... same issues as the 30 was having.. still have to troubleshoot but these things are CRAP... Stay far far far AWAY from the ected!
