My dad is going to be visiting and he has never been out on any hard trails. I would would like to hit the Snakes or maybe Little Moab next weekend if anyone is up for it.

A small group of us is planning to wheel at the 5mile pass area sunday 0930. Anyone is welcome to join. A couple will link up at the Chevron on redwood Rd past Camp Williams at the intersection, otherwise meet at the main area where all the campers, quads, etc park. It's pretty much the first and largest parking area on the right and left as you come up the highway from the Utah Lake Side. i'll be coming from Toowilly and meet ya all there. anyone is welcome. we'll run the trenches, hit the hill, take a back way into the snakes, play there and have lunch with kids, etc. it'll be as easy as we want it to be or as hard as we want it to be. i plan on doing the harder stuff as that's what i like

I'll be following CJ Matt down. While changing to the off-road tires I found that the Rt side king pin is a little sloppy, so ill be changing it out.

Was wondering if any one else that was going has an 8 lug spare with a 38-40 tire on it. I havent quit got around too adding a spare to the rig yet. My other 4 are good I just don't want too be the guy slowing every one down just in case.

Hey Blair, I think Jake and I are going to cruise down with my truck, maybe we'll meet you in Syracuse and we can cruise down together. I'll give you a call and work out the details. I am excited to see your 4runner in action. Have you had it out at all since Mantua??

Nope, havent had it out since Mantua. However I did put some little 235's on it and have been driving it around town here and there.

Just give me a call or ill give Jake a call, I was planing on meeting CJ Matt some where close to the highway, maybe near Layton. Ill have it figured out tomarrow for sure and pass the info onto ya'll.

Correction: China Buffet down on the west side of the freeway by the Wall Mart not China Hill. Time is still 0730 for anyone up this far north.

Good catch Matt! We may have possiably had some lost folks.

Ended up changing a Rt side lower king pin bearing, both upper teflon spacers and springs, but im good as new again. All loaded up ready to go!
