Who wants to help me get into SEMA? I will wear your logo, take lots of pictures and have a damn fine time all on your behalf?? All I need is some business cards and a title :D anyone wanna help a brother out?

I've got a pass and was planning on attending, but time constraints might make it impossible. If they don't check id's too closely and you'll spend a day with Daynene making contacts for U4WDA, you can take my pass.

I have a business entity that does photography. I'm sure I could apply for credentials.

I think new registrations require proof of business and id. I'm with an already registered company, and I've already got the badge.

I've heard SEMA is really cracking down on non-industry types getting in...it's just heresay though :hickey:

I've heard this also. I got my pass from an established company that has been going to SEMA for years. They didn't indicate that I needed any type of additional documents other than the pass. That's what makes me think they are scrutinizing new registrations more than anything. I've never been, so I don't really know. Just speculating.

its not that hard. all you have to do is send in a business name and pay the entry fee. Make a business card up on your computer and have it ready to show when you pick up your badge. I have never had to show a card ;)

It is easier to fake up a bussiness and get in then it is a media pass.
It is actually kind of a PITA. For media you have to have a card AND a magazine that has YOUR name listed as staff. They check the mag against your picture ID. For bussiness you need card and a copy of your taxID paper work, not just the number.... At check in, if you are not pre-registered/pre-verified, they are very strict. Not imossible, but you have to be pretty legit....Unless one of the VIP companies will get you a "visitor" pass.
I have a pass waiting for me, but no time/$$ to go....Unless someone wants to give me a ride and let me sleep on your floor:D
