I'd guess the 5.0 won't make you happy, but either the 3.8 or 4.3 would.

That is the best answer you are going to get. I am guessing the same thing. The only time the 5.0 would be fun is when you are trying to go down a steep hill and you look over at your friend and say look... no brakes! Other than that... you will be happier at 3.8 or 4.3 and if you are thinking of bigger tires... I would probably just go 4.3.

For whatever it's worth, a 4.3 with 4.56's would put you just barely lower than I am with 3.8 and 5.13's. You always have the option of changing diff gears, but I'm guessing that's not in the plans right away--so the 4.3 might be your best choice.

The only other possible consideration is that the 3.0/3.8 Atlas cost a little bit less than the 4.3--but a couple hundred bucks probably won't be a deal breaker when you're already dropping 10 times that much on a Tcase. :)

The best thing to do is go with the Stak Monster Box that way you get the best of both worlds 3:1 and 5.4:1. The tc is just a little taller and wider than an atlas. I paid close to the same that an upgraded atlas was going to cost me and it comes with the 32 spline out puts.
