Automatic ?

I have a 700R4 to put in my jeep.My question is can I do this all stock or do I need a diferent converter, art carr style shifter. Or will I be ok w/just a big trans cooler and colum shifter?

I've run stock converters without problems. Sometimes it wants to push at idle with real low gears. Anyway you choose to shift is fine, but personally I prefer an Art Carr/Winters. Big trans cooler should work with lots of air.

With the 700r4 you need to be rear careful setting up the TV cable. You'll have to research it because I can't remember off the top of my head, but you need to make sure that off idle the tv gives like 80psi. If it's adjusted wrong it wont last. It's a bigger deal then most people think it is.

Thank's I under stand the tv cable. I'm going to do this 700r4+203+ford205 Think I'll like it better then the sm465

Yeah, I'm a convert. Used to think you were only cool if you wheeled a stick. Maybe I'm getting lazy in my old age, but I'll lever wheel a stick again.
