Avalanche Rock Race date change July31 Aug 1

They changed the date because of an event in Colorado springs on the same date. Call Mike Weaver at 970-884-7716 for all the details. If anyone knows Josh let him know of the change. It's only $50 so come on down and have a little fun. It's all one class and minimal rules but make sure you comply with what they say. Run what you brung. It's ok to come in late Fri and tech Sat. morning

Soooo, would this be a good place to run my slightly modified basically stock toy, and lose my rockcrawlin virginity?

Or would it be better to be a spectator, as there are no real rocks here in Idaho, so the little bit I practiced in Purgatory is the extent of my experience.

And Breederwheeler. If you don't have lockers and at least 35's I believe I'd just watch. But bring your rig and try the trails.

Sorry Craig, Lightning took out the phone line again. It was July 31 Aug 1.
The next one will be Oct 15-17 unless it's changed because of the super crawl.
And the 2005 season starts with an event in Moab during Easter Jeep at Jeremy's place (Upper Helldorado) It'll be big Saturday 1 day only.
Hopefully we can get Shannon and Chris D. and a few other guys with a lead foot to come out and play. Don't bring the SHOW rigs Bring the GO rigs

PS This last event was shot by Superlift TV and will be on the outdoor channel.

My fuel pump vapor locked from the 100 degree heat and that cost me 16 minutes. I ended up 3rd. A reserved Mike Palmer did not break once this time and won it. Imagine that someone with a 550hp rig winning. It's all fun Craig I'll look for you in Oct.

I told Superlift TV to be sure to give it a good title so I couldn't miss it. Living like Grizzly Adams I have to go somewhere else to get cable and the Outdoor channel. BTW hurry up with your rig so you can get in on the fun. Action POV and That new Extreme OFF Road Mag may film the next race. That will make 5 different crews filming it. They all said they would rather film this than the slow crawl. Look for a date change on the next one also seems like the super crawl and the race are on the same dates.

We had a great time this summer the avalanche ranch was awesome. Rock racing is a totally different flavor of 4x4. Hey crash did you get the dvd I sent you okay?

Also I will try to throw some footage up on our site so everyone can see how intense the race was. I've got crash, josh, steve, jason, mike and everybody else beating the **** out of there rigs. I can't say enough about how fun the ranch was. -Sam

Does anyone know the real dates for the rock race in october?

Josh was called by a couple of people in colorado that said the avalanche ranch rock race was this weekend (oct. 15) Has anyone else heard different or know different, I didn't think they would schedual the same weekend as supercrawl but you never know-
