Awesome motorcycle videos thread

I don't know if this is an awesome video. But it's crazy. Guys were doing similar stuff up AF canyon this year. Language warning, although it's in a different language.

Really, up AFC? Any more info?

In some kind of twisted way I'd love to run into a whack job on the trail while I'm wearing my riding gear... bring it on! :bryson:

I've come across more than my fair share of nutcases while out riding. That's why I always have a gun on me :)

Don't you remember that night ride we went on up AFC Kurt's buddies said there were guys out on the trail trying to do something (I can't remember what, I want to say shoot but maybe not) to the dirt bikers so to be careful?

I do remember being on edge during that night ride, that must have been why. We need to make more Summertime AFC night rides!!! :freak: That was so much fun.
 
Up on 157 there were wires tied between trees but they were seen before anyone got hurt. When it was reported to the Ranger station they said they had already gotten reports of other areas and that there had been a lot of cases of flat tires from nails. This was earlier in the season.
 
Kevin had some muscle bound roid rage hiker guy punch his helmet on a trail with me last year.... a trail marked as legal in multiple places.
It took everything in me not to roost him... I'm sure he hurt his hand: who is that foolish?

I wonder what people are thinking starting a fight with someone on a motorcycle, in gear. When I had an altercation with a horseback guy last summer, I just kept thinking, I have a helmet and boots on, even if I can't beat you in a fight, you can't really hurt me! Pretty stupid in my opinion.

Amazingly limped away from this. Doctors said I shouldn't be alive. I'm embarrassed and ashamed of the poor riding you're about to see. Wreck was completely avoidable. We were in the town of Puntarenas. Area we were in was just block after block. We had been hitting stop signs and then this intersection didn't have any.. so I thought ok just ride on through, other road must have a stop sign. Running on maybe 4 hours of sleep so judgement wasn't sharp. Before I even saw the car I felt a pit in my stomach and knew I made a mistake. It just felt wrong. Turns out there are no stop signs at that intersection. Other driver was at fault due to speed and the simple fact that they were the one to hit me..

Hospital was pretty sketchy, but a 20min ambulance ride, X-rays, cast, and lots of stitches only cost $137. Flew home to the US a few days later and had 2 screws put in my ankle.

I wish I could ride with that much reckless abandon! And I love the Romanian bike toss when you can't quite make it.... :rofl:

I am jealous of their riding terrain, those dirt hills and gulleys look like a blast to ride. :cool:
