I think you guys might be surprised how often you use every inch of suspension travel on your bikes...it happens more than you think I'd bet.

If your suspension is set up properly for off-road, you will be using 75% of the stroke during normal riding. MX suspension is set up much stiffer.

Is the springs weight and sag still set the same? The only differences are in compression and rebound settings right?

Yes & no. The valving and shim stacks are where you can really do some tweaking to how the suspension behaves.
