Fascinating. I wonder how he transitioned from the camera settings in full daylight to the milky way shots. I'm guessing he's adjusting the exposure between every shot during the transitional light times? I also imagine he spent a LOT of time touching those up in post and getting the lighting right.

The night transitions are my favorite! Puts into perspective a little how small we are on this blue marble of a planet. Amazing.

Here is what he used: The equipment I used includes two Canon 6D's, paired usually with a Rokinon 14mm f/2.8, Rokinon 24mm f/1.4, and a Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8.
I have the 6d and Rokinin 14mm. Just need to go practice more. That vid is motivating. Need to find the time.
His stuff is some of my favorites.
