Axle alignment question

My son in law's brother brought his TJ over for a death wobble cure and to find some other problems that came after his last trip up constrictor. I found and fixed a bunch of bad and broken parts which included a broken upper control arm bolt, loose upper control arm bushing, bent drag link which caused horrible toe in, and a loose track bar bushing and bolt. When I went to adjust the track bar to center the axle I found that the axle was offset an inch or so to the driver's side. The axle however needed to go even more to the driver's side if I was to align the front axle to the rear axle. I found after checking the rear axle that it was offset an inch and a half to the drivers side. It looks to me like he needs an adjustable track bar in the rear. Do they make one ? or should I adjust the front to match the rear instead of putting it in the center ??

Ideally, you'll center both of them. Adjustable trackbars are easy to find. ;)

An inch and a half off center is a lot though--and usually the rear axle moves toward the passenger side when you lift them, so I'd check to see if the axle-side trackbar bracket is bent/broken also. That's a pretty common thing, along with the upper control arm bracket attached to it.

The TJ has a teraflex long arm on it with a tera 60 rear. The rear track bar mount is raised up quite a bit but uses a stock track bar as far as I know. It has the teraflex adjustable front track bar which is what I was trying to adjust.

Center the front axle with the adjustable trackbar (center with the vehicle), then center the rear axle (to the vehicle) using an adjustable rear trackbar. That's what I was trying to say before......

OK I'll tell him to come pick one up. I wasn't sure they had them for the rear.
