Baja 1000 starts 11/23

Who's planning on following?
I love the 1000.
It's like Superbowl for off-road racing tomorrow.
Bikes and ATVs start at 3am to get a jump on everyone. (And not get run over by trophy trucks).

I think SLR Honda is 1st off the line.

I'll be watching! Crazy about the storms, rerouting the race course and the 24 hr delay! I'm betting a lot of vehicles aren't going to make it far, if it's still really wet down there.

I really want to see the Baja 1000 in person one of these days. Missed it by a day 4 years ago!

It'll be interesting to see if the moisture knocks down the dust we'll see lots more position changes than the past. Also the new awd TTs will have a bigger advantage over the traditional 2wds.

We didn’t race this year, just enjoyed being spectators out on the course. The weather certainly slowed some down and the rain delay really put a chill on things.

I got invited to pit the 1000 and jumped at the chance. It was a blast.

I had to fly out a day early to deliver the right lower control arms. Hcr gave us ones that where 1/4" too short.

Game ender. broken front drive line 3 times. They wadded up the first tube around RM170. I retubed the it in some random gastion parking lot, then then the yoke let go around rm450. We sawzalled the drive line off one of the our prerunner golfkarts and replaced the yoke and u joint around RM495, and then the drive line wadded it self up again around rm520 and that was it. They didnt have enought time to get the the physical check point. We loaded the car around 3pm by San filipe and drove back to ensianada and then back to richfield by 8am monday. I slept about 5hrs in 48hrs. Racin



Some one stole our stella gps tractor when we went to the care wash. we turned our back on the race care for like 4 minutes is all. The idiot thief didnt know wtf he stole let alone anyone could get online and see his exact where abouts since the race was still going on. The policia was very pleased to learn they could just follow their phone and retrieve it.
