Okay, just tried this one on Saturday. I used baby back ribs and they were yummy!
Ribs (I used 2 racks = 5 lbs)
1 T garlic powder
1 T seasoning salt
1 T black pepper
Place ribs in shallow baking pan. Combine seasonings and sprinkle over ribs. Cover with tin foil and bake at 300 for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
The sauce....
1 C ketchup
1 C chili sauce
1/4 C packed brown sugar
1 T minced onion
1 T liquid smoke
1 T molasses
Mix all together and brush cooked ribs with sauce. At this point you can either throw them on the grill for 10 to 15 minutes to kind of "set up" or just return to oven, cover, and cook for another 20 or 30 minutes. Serve with remaining sauce and lots of paper towels.
