So I went to USANA last week for the George Strait concert. While there I found out they now sell corona in a can, and I like it. Better than I bottle IMHO.

Problem is, I have never seen it in the stores. anyone here ever seen it? Preferably in Utah Co.

Thanks,

I've seen it a couple of times before, but not in Utah County. I"ll keep my eyes open. Good to know. We're going to Brad Paisley there in a few months.

Sweet,

Bart, have you seen Brad before? I saw him a few years ago at the E Center, by far the best country concert I have ever seen, Next to Chris Ledoux. After hearing some of his guitar solos, I would put Brad in the top 10 guitarist of all time, not just country, but all of them.

The corona is great but it is $6 a can.

I've seen it in quite a few places. The ghetto grocery stores ought to have it, and I saw it at Harmons last time I was there.

Damn I wish Chris LeDoux was still alive. I saw him at country jam years ago and friggin LOVE his music! Definently in my top ten for country artists.

This thread is about beer. Please refrain from tarnishing the awesomeness of beer by discussing the suck that is country music.

Thanks.

I'd also suggest that you stop tarnishing the awesomeness of beer by calling Corona beer. But you know my thought on that already. Real beer comes in glass bottles, or even stone crockery. NOT cans.

The way I see it, if real breweries can make, store, and age real bear using real metal/aluminum fermentors and other vessels, then it can't be that much different to bottle/can into a vessel of similar metal-icular makeup.

You may not like Corona specifically, but it's every bit as much of a beer as most of what we drink around here. Taste is relative to the taster....unless we're talkign about PBR, in which case the taster is only claiming fondness due to pressure from their peers. Nobody actually likes PBR.

I have fond memories from the early 80s fo South Pardre Island Tx, Corona beer and lots of girls on spring break. Back then a case of corona in Matamoros Mexico was around 5 dollars, there case was 18 beers in metric bottles, a little less thes 12oz.:D
The good times stoped when somebody had the bright idea to start smoking swishers.

Sweet, looking forward to the concert. Nope, haven't seen him before. Really liked the show that Garth Brooks used to put on.

I enjoy saying what I want. :cody:

You go girl.

I know several people who disagree with you on that. But you drink Bud Light, so your opinion on PBR doesn't matter one iota.

Ok, with taking the chance of sounding like a Pu$$, for some reason, beer in a bottle gives me bad heartburn, and I don't like it. all except Corona that is. Beer in a can doesn't do it either. Besides, cans don't break in a cooler.

What did PBR do to you!? :D

I prefer Stouts and IPA's, but when pinching pennies there is no beer (except maybe Keystone) that will compare to the quality of a Pabst Blue Ribbon. I have bought it long before any of my "peers" ever knew what it was, and I've never had a Pabst that tasted worst than any Pabst before it. Plus they were one of the very few breweries that survived the prohibition that got to account for something--right? :D

Hmm all this Pabst talk... I think I'll have one in a bottle of course :p
