The way I see it, if real breweries can make, store, and age real bear using real metal/aluminum fermentors and other vessels, then it can't be that much different to bottle/can into a vessel of similar metal-icular makeup.

You may not like Corona specifically, but it's every bit as much of a beer as most of what we drink around here. Taste is relative to the taster....unless we're talkign about PBR, in which case the taster is only claiming fondness due to pressure from their peers. Nobody actually likes PBR.

Aluminum is a no no in a brewery. Those tanks are stainless. Beer cans are lined with plastic though so it makes it a non issue. Studies have been done showing no difference in taste if the beer is poured into a glass before drinking. None of the beers I ever buy are offered in cans but it sure would be nice sometimes.

I found two different beers in cans last weekend that I've never seen before. Corona, and Bud Lime. And, in of all places, Rexburg Idaho.

I'm a sucker for the lime, and had to snag me some while I was there.

Budlight lime is effin nasty. It's been in the can now for a while, just made it even worse

I'd also suggest that you stop tarnishing the awesomeness of beer by calling Corona beer.

ABSOLUTELY!

For the record, I hate beer and prefer a more potent weapon of choice:cool:

However, living by the border, and traveling into Mexico often opens your eyes to the locals preference in beer. Corona is not one of them. I ended up liking the traditional Mexican trash beer, Carta Blanca. Pacifico and Tecate were my 2nd choice.

IMHO, You should try Bohemia, that is probably the best.
