So I have a 2006 LJ that has the original transmission mount that this year in Moab I dragged thru/over everything.... I want to get a belly up skid plate that should help my break over angle.... but which one?

I have looked at Nth belly up for the manual ($566 on quadratec) and the Teraflex one ($465) and both look to be close to what I am looking for but was wondering what other options are out there and what others have used.
So speak up and tell me your experiences....

I have the Teraflex one and it's been on for several years, no complaints. One thing to think of is get one that is compatible with the brand of long arm kit if you are going to go that route. That's why I did Teraflex. I don't think you can get an AEV lift for the LJ anymore.

This is good advice. I am running the TeraFlex belly up plate (which I am happy with) and I'm also running Tera's long arm kit.

One thing to note: most belly up kits require an inch of body lift to make room for everything. This was no big deal to me, as I had already planned to add the body lift to make more room for tire clearance. FYI

Savvy.

I have an old Jeep Medic (not around anymore) on my LJ and it's great. Rokmen makes the same one now.

But if I were buying one today it would be Savvy.

I already have the body lift so no worries there... and I am holding off on the long arm upgrade as tnt is working on a new design that may be better then what is out there right now...
