Yeah - a peice of 2"x 1" square tube works well- I bought one for mine ,but soon found it wasn;'t long enough to bend 2" DOM- 1.5" it was fine , but nothing bigger.

Yes build your own stand.

Bought a 10' piece of 1x2x.120wall for the handle. Cut it to 5' but is a touch short for 2" .120wall. 1.5 and 1" is just fine at that length.

The degree ring I think was a waste, but live and learn:rolleyes:

I'd be glad to take it, but getting it may be a PITA. Aren't you in St George?

I'm looking at the 1 3/4 but not sure on the 5.5, 6.5, or 7.5.

Input?

What about shipping charges?

Thanks,

I still have the 2" die and I think I'll keep it. I will soon be ordering a 1.5" die and eventually a 1".

Like Supergper said, the tighter the Radius the better.

No =- I'm in West Jordan. Pumpkinbronc is my brother- he's in St. George. I'd like to come down for UROC, but work is probably going to interfere.

to answer your question:

how can the handle be too short? well there really is no too short or too long, its how easy you want to make it, the longer the easier...

the model 3 is $266 and that is for just the bender, no dies, no stand(which you can make yourself), nothing...the cost is pretty much shipping...

Bender $266
Die $225 (depending on which die(s) you get)
Shipping about $100 depending on what you get
Total now is $591

The hydraulic kit does not include the ram...it only includes an adapter to attatch the ram the the bender...again I am going to fab my own bracket...
