I actually placed the order yesterday. I did not want to post prices just out of respect (for lack of a better word) to the vendor who I was working with for the group prices. He posts prices up on his website, and the prices that he offered us were slightly lower than those prices. I just did not think it was right to post in a public forum and sort of compete against himself.
I ended up ordering the benders (two of them) through Keith at XtremeCrawlers.Com. I had heard second hand that he was good to work with and had good customer service, and I would have to agree with that. Took a little long to get a price quote back to me, but when he did he acknowledged that it took longer than he liked and apologized. Also in the process I called and talked to Jim (90% sure on that name) at Pro-tools. He was actually really good to talk with as well, took plenty of time for me to ask my dumb questions, and had the "call us at anytime and we will be happy to talk benders" attitude.
During the process I asked pro-tools if they would offer a multi-bender discount, and they actually referred me back to XtremeCrawlers.Com and said that pro-tools policy was to not discount any prices, but their vendors did sometimes. I had them give me a price on the same items I had quoted from XtremeCrawlers.Com and their price was approx %25 higher once we compared apples to apples. So it is better to go through the vendor.
bobdog I will PM you the prices as well so you have an idea. I am sure they will remember my order and I bet we could get the same price for you if you are interested. All of this is still fresh on my mind so if you have questions ask away.
