The best I have seen as far as working in the middle of nowhere has been Verizon. As far as Sprint goes..unless your in the city you can forget about receiving calls from what I have seen on a few phones.

X3 on Verizon, but just from hearsay of friends. I've had Sprint which was horrible and T-Movile, which was pretty bad except roaming was same as AT&T. I have AT&T now, which is mediocre outside of populated areas. AT&T can even show a couple of bars like out between Price and Green River, but you can't actually make a call. To be completely fair, I'll say that AT&T's LTE data service in the city ROCKS! 12 meg down on the phone!

I have verizon and have been very impressed with where I have service. I even had 3G at FYTO! Even in some of the canyons down in Moab I tend to have service. But that comes at a cost, verizon is pricey. That being said I probably won't get rid of mine anytime soon because i'm grandfathered into unlimited data :)

Yep, as everyone else has said, Verizon has the best coverage in odd places, or less traveled places. However, Verizon coverage blows at my house. I had a free Verizon phone through my work and gave it up in favor of paying for service that actually works at my house. I use AT&T and have zero complaints about it for every day use.

Rivertown has some odd spots in it, my phone isn't happy in certain areas. Same with our air cards for our computers also verizon. Herriman and Riverton have some "blind" spots. Haven't had any issues anywhere else in the valley

That's what i thought too until i changed my plan. They wouldn't grandfather me in. Pretty lame. Great coverage though. But to be honest my dads prepaid net 10 phone gets better coverage than me sometimes out in the middle of nowhere.

Indeed. I'd be sitting at my house with "full coverage" and get a voicemail from a missed call, no ring at all. This would happen all the time. My wife's company provided t-mobile is good at our house too, it's only Verizon that is questionable.

I love TMobile, and they have been awesome nationwide, but Verizon rules for being in the middle of nowhere.
I agree, I had verizon for a long time, but the last year or so I was always getting crappy customer service and they didn't seem to care to help when I would go into the store, so I switched to T-mobile, they have been good to me and I usually have reception but I haven't gone up to the mountains much since having them, but my vote for good reception everywhere would be verizon.
